Bridge Pa Wine Festival
The 4rd annual Bridge Pa Wine Festival was held on Saturday, 20 January 2018, with eight of Hawke’s Bay’s leading wineries from within the Bridge Pa winegrowing sub-region participating. Abbey Estate, Alpha Domus, Ash Ridge Wines, Ngatarawa, Oak Estate, Paritua, Red Metal and Sileni Estate each provided a different food, wine and music experience with the hop on / hop off bus connecting the wineries. The event brings people in from all over Hawke’s Bay, making for an outstanding day out and an opportunity to experience what makes this sub-region unique.
The Bridge Pa Triangle contains the oldest soils on the Heretaunga Plains. This combined with the high sunshine hours and low rainfall, lays the foundation for some truly outstanding wines, unlike anything else found in New Zealand
